There will be three types of administrative accounts in the SBS ecosystem: school or institutional accounts, organizer accounts, & lastly the Super Admin account belonging to SBS.
Upon each achievement, both academic & extra-curricular, you will be rewarded certain points in the form of SOLOs, which will then be credited to your accounts. These SOLOs can easily be viewed from the account itself.
Student achievements will be distributed into different types:
You will be encouraged to feed your wishes & long-term goals into the system; upon successful completion of which, you will again be rewarded with SOLOs.
The system will automatically prompt you to spend & save the SOLOs they have earned. Based on your capabilities & age, you will also be taught about different aspects of finance such as income tax, shopping, mutual funds, share market, insurance, & much more.
Even though the entire system is completely digital, you can also use it to find summer jobs & internships for yourself to become better aware of the real world.
Institutions, schools, & organizers will be given the right to verify the accounts of their students. They will also be able to post about different activities & events in the SBS forum, encourage students to participate in them, & reward students with SOLOs accordingly.
The ecosystem is designed to motivate you to not only earn more SOLOs but to also save them,
invest them, loan them, & do so much more with them.
Aimed to boost financial awareness among students, SOLO is designed to promote
better financial learning in you & make you financially literate.
SOLOs are awarded when you register on the portal after which you can further earn SOLOs through your academic performance as well as performance in various extra-curricular activities.
SOLOs are also awarded if you achieve your pre-set goals or participate in any competitions, both through the portal & outside of it.
Saving On Learning Only (SOLO) is a virtual reward point that is given to students & acts as a currency in the SBS ecosystem.
